Sports Massage by Emma
A Sports massage with Emma targets tension and damage to soft tissues – including muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia in order to relieve chronic aches and pains and address injury and imbalance across the whole body. Regular massage improves flexibility and range of motion – speeding up recovery from injury and helping to improve athletic performance.
Emma’s techniques include myo-facial release, connective tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Her massage approach focuses on structural balance in the whole body – improving joint mobility and circulation and promoting long term recovery.
Emma also provides Pre and Post Event Massage for events including Marathons and Cycle Races. Pre-event massage warms up muscles, increases circulation and stamina and helps to prevent injury. Post event massage reduces fatigue and inflammation and aids in muscle recovery.
Deep Tissue Massage by Emma
Emma’s Deep Tissue massage is a full body treatment that is deeply relaxing – using sustained pressure to deep layers of muscle and connective tissue to relieve chronic stiffness, reduce pain and improve mental well-being.
Deep Tissue massage helps address posture, stress, pain and restricted movement. It improves circulation, boosts the immune system and creates structural balance across the whole body. Regular Deep Tissue massage can assist in pain management for chronic conditions, reduce stress and improve deep sleep.
