Emma’s Blog
Emma Charvet is a yoga coach and massage therapist
Struggle with mental health or parenting? Emma’s blog shares her experiences of being a parent to teens with nuggets of down to earth wisdom – gleaned from a lifetime of trying to be a good yogi amidst the challenge of navigating parenthood alone in a sea of icebergs.
Yoga and mindfulness is a pathway to a happier, healthier way of living – if only we could spend all day doing yoga! Sometimes the rollercoaster is just too fast and furious. Emma brings a sense of humour and resilience to the icebergs in her journey – of depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, neurodiversity and addiction – to find calm in the midst of craziness.
Wishing you peace on the path ahead – the journey is our destination….

Surviving Holidays with Teenagers
Holidays are never straightforward as a single parent. But as the kids get older - and moodier - the need to find human shields (aka friends) in order to enjoy the time away from home becomes more essential. Fighting for Teen Mental Health

My 15 year old son is one of those children and we heard the news report together.. These terms are offensive. Children who are too depressed or anxious to go to school are neither ghosts - very much alive (mostly thanks to their parents never giving up) - or hidden (except to the services that...
